
Things I have learned as a mother thus far...
You cannot put on infant socks with one hand, while holding the baby.
You should not pick at your child's ear while they are nursing, it bugs them.
If the onesie does not snap at the bottom anymore, that doesn't mean it shrunk in the washer, your baby might actually be growing.
A double chin, pudgy arms and a round belly are a very good and healthy thing-- for the baby, not for the mommy!
The motherly instinct never lets you down.
You will try to fight the urge to not stop and look at baby clothes at the store, but you will lose.
Your baby is more likely to explode out the side of his pants and all over his onesie 100 more times out in public than while you are at home.
And finally,
no matter how often it happens....whether its gas or true happiness....it never gets old seeing him smile.
